Parvez Elahi will continue his services until the finalization of the caretaker CM.

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Sunday unveiled three names to nominate for caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab after Assembly dissolution on Saturday.
Speaking to the media after meeting with Imran Khan, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi stated that the names of a serving bureaucrat Ahmed Nawaz Sukhira, former federal health minister Nasir Ahmad Khan and a retired civil servant Nasir Saeed Khosa have been nominated for caretaker chief minister.
He added that the suggested names for Chief Minister will be discussed further in today’s (Monday) meeting.
Earlier, in a meeting presided over by Chairman PTI Imran Khan, a consultation was held on names for caretaker chief minister of Punjab.
It should be noted that Chaudhry Parvaiz Elahi had sent the signed summary of the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly to the Governor of Punjab Baligh-ur-Rehman on January 12.
The Governor Punjab refused to sign the summary of the dissolution of the provincial assembly, after which the Punjab Assembly was automatically dissolved at 10pm after 48 hours of the summary.
Parvez Elahi will continue to serve as the Punjab CM until the finalization of the caretaker Chief Minister.
