Rawalpindi: As many as four security personnel were martyred in terrorist attack carried out from the Iranian soil, the military’s media wing said on Wednesday.

The ISPR said that the Iranian authorities were asked to take action against the terrorists.
The attack took place at the moment when Pakistan is already confronting with security challenges, especially from the banned outfits and facing security situation from across the Afghan border.
Earlier in the day, the security forces killed four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the general area of Balochistan’s Hoshab and Tilsar.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations, during Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance of the area, four terrorists opened fire on securing forces. During ensuing heavy exchange of fire, all four terrorists were killed, while a cache of arms and ammunition including Improvised Explosive Devices was also recovered.
