Police officials stated that they had received threats from militant groups.


Khyber: Two policemen were martyred and three others injured in a terrorist attack on Takhta Baig police check post in district Khyber on Thursday.
The martyred police officials were identified as Younis and Manzoor Shah.
Soon after the incident, the security forces reached the spot and started search operation.
The injured cops were shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex.
No group has claimed the responsibility of the attack, whereas police officials stated that they had received threats from militant groups recently and were on high alert.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan also took the notice of attack and said the sacrifices of martyred personnel will not go in vain.
