Pakistan Army soldier martyred in Bannu IED explosion
Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate terrorists in the area.
Bannu: A Pakistani army soldier was martyred when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in general area Jani Khel, an area of Bannu District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday.
According to ISPR, the 24-year-old martyred soldier was identified as Sepoy Gul Sher and a resident of Khyber district.
Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists in the area.
President Dr. Arif Alvi expressed sorrow and paid tribute to the martyred soldier.
President Dr. Arif Alvi expressed sorrow over the martyrdom of Pakistan army sepoy and paid tribute to him for embracing martyrdom in the line of duty.
He prayed Allah Almighty to elevate ranks of the martyr in Jannah and give fortitude and patience to the bereaved family to bear the loss.
