The case has been registered in accordance with the law.

Islamabad: Special Assistant to PM on Interior Attaullah Tarar has Wednesday said that case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Ch will also proceed as per the law as there is no “political vengeance”.
While addressing a news conference along with Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Abid Sher Ali, the SAPM regretted the threats hurled by the PTI leaders to the state institutions including the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
He said the case has been registered against PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry in accordance with the law for threatening the head and members of the election commission.
PML-N leader Abid Sher Ali said due process was followed in the appointment of the caretaker Chief Minister Punjab. He said the case against Fawad Chaudhry is not politically motivated but those who will challenge the state will have to face the law.
Deepening political crisis in the country, the senior politician and former federal minister has been arrested on sedition charges.
In their first information report (FIR), police said the politician “threatened and harassed” the ECP officials.
