The election watchdog has set March 19 as the date for by-polls on 31 seats fell vacant after resignations of PTI MNAs.
Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Friday announced schedule of by-polls on another 31 National Assembly constituencies due to be held on 19th of next month.
The seats had fallen vacant due to resignations of PTI MNAs.
The ECP notification says the candidates will be able to file their nomination papers with the ROs from 10-14 of this month. The scrutiny of documents will be carried out till 18th of this month.
In a statement, the ECP Spokesperson said that Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja chaired a meeting and receiving briefing about preparations for elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and on 86 seats of the National Assembly.

The revised list of candidates after the appeals will be published on 28th of this month. The candidates can withdraw their nominations papers and publication of revised list of candidates is fixed as Mar 01.The candidates will be allotted election symbols on March 02 and the polling will be conducted on March 19.
