Mochko Police Station registered FIR against Sheikh Rashid under sections 506, 504, 500 and 153 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) on a complaint moved by a PPP worker named Khuda Buksh.
The complainant told the police that Sheikh Rashid while talking to media outside the Poly Clinic Hospital, Islamabad, used abusive language against Bilawal Bhutto.
He said that his attitude angered the party workers who staged protest against Sheikh Rashid in Karachi. He said he confessed them and managed the situation.
Khuda Buksh also told the police that Sheikh made an attempt to create chaos and anarchy through his objectionable language towards the PPP chairman. He asked the police to take an action against AML Chief under the law.
According to the sources, the Karachi police also constituted a team which would travel to Islamabad to arrest Sheikh Rashid in the said case. They added that the former interior minister would be shifted to Karachi for action.
