Karachi: Shahid Afridi, the renowned Pakistani cricketer, took to social media to pen down a heartfelt note on the occasion of his daughter, Ansha Afridi’s wedding with fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi.
The former Pakistani cricket team captain shared a post on Twitter, expressing his happiness and pride on the occasion of his daughter Shaheen's wedding.
Afridi, who is known for his philanthropic and charitable work, was delighted to have been able to give his daughter a memorable wedding.
Sharing a heartwarming post on Twitter, Afridi called his daughter the most beautiful flower of the garden, saying they [daughter] blossom with great blessing.
He added, “A daughter is someone you laugh with, dream with, and love with all your heart”.
“As a parent, I gave my daughter in Nikkah to Shaheen Shah Afridi, congratulations to the two of them,” the cricketer wrote in his post— sharing two pictures showing the couple for the first time.

The wedding was attended by a number of famous cricketers, family members and close friends. Shadab Khan, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman and Sarfaraz Ahmed were spotted at the ceremony.
Pakistan's ace speedster on Friday tied the knot with Ansha Afridi, the second eldest daughter of Shahid Afridi in an intimate Nikkah ceremony.
The grand wedding ceremony took place in Karachi.
