Peshawar: 12 terrorists were gunned down in an operation conducted by security forces against terrorists in Lakki Marwat, reported Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) Tuesday.
According to the details, police officials stated that the accused were going towards the area of Tank for terrorist action.
The weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of the dead terrorists. However, the policemen remained safe from the firing of the terrorists.
Police informed that the dead terrorists had martyred six police personnel in December 2022.
Security forces stated that the killed terrorists belonged to the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
