Marriyum Aurangzeb said that spreading fake news is in nobody’s interest.

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb Wednesday said the coalition government has made concerted efforts to save the country from default, while talking to newsmen at the Parliament House in Islamabad.
She said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is spreading fake news about the government's ongoing negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which harm the national interests.
Marriyum stated that the government is trying to renegotiate the agreement, signed by the PTI regime with the IMF, to provide maximum relief to the masses.
The minister called upon media to abstain from publishing and airing fake news originating from unauthentic sources, adding that, “spreading fake news is in nobody’s interest”.
