Eight killed in an armed clash between two rival groups over enmity
According to police, eight people including women and children were shot in the village of Kalu Katohar, in the vicinity of PS Punhun Bhatti, Jacoababd.
The exchange of firing took place between the Katohar and Jalbani tribal groups as a result of which six people of former and two of latter were killed.
Among the dead include three children as well.
Reportedly, personal enmity is the cause of incident.
After getting information, police and rescue reached the site and shifted dead bodies and injured to nearby hospital. The dead bodies will undergo postmortem.
Police has launched an initial investigation into the incident.
