Islamabad: District and Sessions Court Islamabad Monday accepted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan's exemption plea in Toshakhana case till February 28 (tomorrow), while rejecting the request to transfer the case to the judicial complex.
According to the details, the additional session Judge Zafar Iqbal announced the reserved verdict and Imran Khan’s lawyer Babar Awan assured the court that former Prime Minister Imran will appear before court tomorrow.
The court in Islamabad rejected PTI chief’s plea to transfer the hearing of the Tosha Khana case from court to judicial complex.
The petition to summon Imran Khan’s medical reports from Pakistan Institute Medical Science (PIMS) was also rejected.
Babar also filed an exemption appeal and told the court that Khan will appear before the court in Toshakhana case tomorrow.
The lawyer said that on the basis of security threats for Imran Khan in the Kachehri court, the hearing should be transferred to Judicial complex.
