Diamer: An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 hit Chilas— capital of Diamer District located in Gilgit-Baltistan—and its adjacent areas on Tuesday, reportedly.
According to Seismological Center, the epicenter of the earthquake was 35 kilometers away from Chilas southwest while its depth was 20 kilometers.
The residents came out of their houses reciting Holy verses due to fear. However, initial reports stated that the mild quake caused no life or property loss.
