Tripoli: Three Pakistanis have been killed after the sinking of the migrant boat off the coast of Libya on February 26. The tragedy happened on the same night when Italy’s shipwreck took place that had killed 28 Pakistanis.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch turned to Twitter and stated: “In an earlier, separate tragic incident, three Pakistani nationals perished in a boat wreck near Benghazi, Libya”.
The spokesperson added that Pakistani Embassy in Tripoli is facilitating the process of transportation of the mortal remains to Pakistan.
