Karachi: Gold price in Pakistan went up by Rs2,700 per tola in the local markets on Wednesday.

All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) also confirmed increase in the gold price in the local markets, saying that the price of gold (24 carats) went up by Rs2,700 per tola and Rs2,315 per 10 grams to settle at Rs197,100 and Rs168,981, respectively.
The precious metal cumulatively went up by Rs3,000 per tola during the last two sessions and changed the last week trend when the price went down by Rs1,900 per tola.
