The Henley Passport Index, which has been regularly monitoring the world’s most travel-friendly passports has released the latest ranking of the world’s powerful and weakest passports in 2021.

The travel documents are based on how many countries citizens can access without a visa, and the number of destinations their holders can access without a prior visa, using information from the International Air Transport Association (IAT).
It does not take into account any temporary pandemic-related travel restrictions.
As per released ranking, Japan is the world's most powerful passport in 2021, as Japanese nationals are able to access 193 destinations around the world visa-free.
In second place, Singapore which has a visa-free/visa-on-arrival score of 192, while Germany and South Korea share third place, as passport holders of each nation can enter 191 locations.
The top 10 spots are largely held by EU countries, as four countries including Italy, Finland, Luxembourg and Spain are standing on 4th position with access to 190 destinations.
Denmark and Austria are in fifth place, as nationals enjoy visa-free travel to 189 countries.
The UK and US share joint seventh place, with a score of 187.
Moreover, In January the UAE ranked 16th and has moved up one position in the Henley Passport Index, which ranks the strength of passports across the world as of the second quarter of 2021 it comes in at 15th.
Pakistan is among countries that has weakest passports as nationals are able to access only 32 destinations around the world visa-free.
