The Finance Minister's visit to America was canceled due to Pakistan's political situation.


Islamabad: Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar canceled his visit to America which was scheduled on April 10 to attend the meeting of World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF), GNN reported.
According to government sources, the Finance Minister's visit to America was canceled due to the Pakistan's political situation.
Ishaq Dar was also scheduled to meet with officials of United Arab Emirates (UAE) during his visit to America.
Pakistani delegation comprising secretary of finance and secretary of economic affairs will participate in the meeting of the World Bank and the IMF along with the governor of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The delegation will discuss about the recovery of the loan program with the IMF officials. However, IMF has reserves regarding UAE funding confirmation for Pakistan and petrol subsidy provided by government.
