‘Cut it out,’: Question about alleged possession of BMW worries Maryam Nawaz
The video clip of the PML-N senior vice-president dictating a local TV anchor has gone viral on the social media.

Lahore: A video clip of Maryam Nawaz, the senior vice-president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), about the question of a local TV anchor regarding possession of BWM has been making the rounds on social media.
In the video, Maryam Nawaz can be heard stopping a local TV anchor from airing a question and her response about allegedly possessing a BMW car.
The clip begins with Maryam Nawaz saying, "One second, cut it out," while ordering the TV anchor to stop the question. She then instructs the anchor to tell her about the fact. From her facial expression, it appears that she is in trouble. The anchor responds by saying, "Tell me," to which Maryam Nawaz replies, "Honestly, I don't know about this. I will check the facts and figures."

While Maryam Nawaz is speaking, the anchor seems to be insisting on getting an answer, but Maryam Nawaz directs the staff not to air it. The anchor responds by saying, "Please don't worry." When the anchor starts asking another question, Maryam Nawaz promptly says, "Don't do it [record it], let me hear the question first. I don't have any vehicle brother."
However, the anchor proceeds to ask Maryam Nawaz about her alleged possession of a BMW vehicle from the UAE Royal family in 2009 and 2010. Maryam Nawaz interrupts the anchor and asks him, "Where is it? Is it in the record?" The anchor responds, "This is in JIT findings. This is in record."
At this point, Maryam Nawaz appears to be taken aback and asks, "What?" The anchor informs her that it is declared in her returns. Maryam Nawaz then denies having any BMW vehicle and shows concern about the video recording, saying, "Shut it down please," to the staff once again.
The video clip of the interview has gone viral on social media, with Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb being heard in the background saying, "Is ko Rehne do yar [Dear, leave it]."
Responding to the viral video clip, Maryam Nawaz took to Twitter and said, "Probably they are used to lying & expect others to do that too. I did not have the required info and did not want to say anything that was factually not correct."
The video clip caused a stir on social media, with users sharing and commenting on it.
