The newly head coach says it is an honour and a privilege to be serving Pakistan again, adding that he is really looking forward to be working alongside Mickey Arthur and also the players and staff of this team.

Lahore: Pakistan’s newly appointed head coach Grant Bradburn on Tuesday expressed his excitement at working with the Pakistan side, calling it a ‘wonderful opportunity’.
The Kiwi previously served as a fielding coach of the national side from 2018 to 2020 before he joined the National Cricket Academy, then known as National High Performance Centre, to take on the coaches development responsibilities.
“[It is} wonderful to be back and really, really nice to have such a warm welcome,” Bradburn told PCB Digital upon landing in Lahore in the wee hours of Tuesday. “It's an honour to be back and serving Pakistan. I first arrived in Pakistan in 1990 with a New Zealand team and then had three wonderful years working with the team and all the coaches in Pakistan during 2019 to 2021.
“It's an honour and a privilege to be serving Pakistan again. So wonderful opportunity, really looking forward to be working alongside Mickey Arthur and also the players and staff of this team.”
Bradburn maiden assignment as Pakistan head coach will begins this week as the hosts play New Zealand in five T20 Internationals. The two sides will then meet for as many One-Day Internationals in the tour that stretches from 14 April till 7 May.
“There is so much talent in this team and I am looking forward to getting along them and perhaps influencing them to make some real positive change.”
