Islamabad: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Atta Bandial of Supreme Court Thursday postponed the hearing of simultaneous elections case, GNN reported.
According to details, three-member bench headed by CJP Bandial comprising of Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan and Justice Muneeb Akhtar heard the case.
Umar Atta Bandial stated that an appropriate verdict will be issued today. We are neither issuing any directions nor timeline.
CJP said that everyone is aware about the opposition of constitution. Therefore for heaven’s sake get on same page for constitution and politicians should resolve the issue themselves.
“If negotiation among political could not provide any solution, then our verdict and constitution is available make the decision,” he added.
