'I am safe and healthy with my family': Vivek Oberoi debunks rumours of being hospitalised
Mumbai: Acclaimed Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has debunked rumours of him getting hospitalized in Chennai which arose after the death of Tamil star Vivekh.
The news started doing the rounds on the internet after a section of the Indian media confused Vivek Oberoi with Tamil actor Vivekh, who passed away earlier on Saturday morning.
Vivek Oberoi took to his Twitter handle and issued a clarification after his fans got concerned about his health.
"There has been a false news report about me being hospitalised in Chennai, “I would like to clarify that I am safe & healthy with my family in Mumbai”.
The 44-year old conveyed his condolences on the death of popular Tamil actor Vivekh who was put on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) support at a hospital in Chennai after suffering a cardiac arrest and died on Saturday.
“Deeply saddened to hear abt the demise of @Actor_Vivek from the Tamil industry. I extend my deepest condolences to his family," he wrote.

Earlier, the actor had taken to Instagram to share a video of himself receiving his first COVID-19 vaccination shot.
