The accused refused to hand over the body of the deceased to the police.
Bannu: The owner of the dog killed a 35-year-old man for the accusation of killing his pet dog in Bannu, city located on the Kurran River in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
According to the details, the unfortunate incident took place in Sarwar Ghazni Khel in the premises of Sadar police station, where the accused set the body on fire using petrol after killing him.
The police further stated that the accused identified as Umair refused to hand over the body of the deceased to the police.
However, later police encountered the accused with heavy contingent of police during which he was killed after which the bodies were shifted to the hospital.
Authorities revealed that the alleged accused Umair had earlier stabbed and injured two Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) in Lucky Gate.
