Arjun Rampal tests positive for COVID-19
Mumbai: Acclaimed Bollywood star Arjun Rampal is the latest Indian celebrity to have tested positive to novel coronavirus.

Arjun took to Instagram and announced his diagnosis, saying that he has quarantined himself and is also following all Covid-19 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure the safety of those around him.
“I have tested for Covid-19. Even though I am asymptomatic, I have isolated myself and home quarantined, getting the needed medical care. I am following all protocols as is required of me,” the actor wrote.
The 48-year old urged people to take all precautionary measure to contain the spread of coronavirus.
"To all those who have been in contact with me in the past 10 days, please take care and take the necessary precautions”.
Terming the global outbreak ‘Scary time’, Arjun stated if we are aware and wise for a short span of time, it will yield long term benefits.
“Together, we can and we will fight Corona!” he concluded.

As India is battling the second wave of the Covid-19 currently, several Bollywood celebrities are testing positive for the contagious virus every day.
So far Aishwaria Rai, Amitabh Bachan, Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Abishek Bachan, Sunny Deol, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Varun Dhawan, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor tested positive and recovered from coronavirus.
