Islamabad: Former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has said that government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) is breeding hatred and intolerance in the country.

While speaking during the national assembly session, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader lashed out at Imran Khan led government for failing to maintain law and order in the country.
“Prime Minister is accountable to Parliament. He should have come to the parliament and explain his narrative. The whole country is in the grip of rumors. PTI’s government has failed to fulfill its responsibility,’ he said.
PPP leader further stated that due to an incompetent leadership, Muslim brothers are fighting against each other.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Noor-ul-Haq Qadri expressed disappointment over the countrywide protest by banned Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP).
“The issue with the protesters will be resolved through negotiations and in this regard second round of talks with the demonstrators will be held in the evening. No government wants to be in such kind of situation,” he added.
Earlier today, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that negotiation process with defunct outfit Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) is in progress and most of issues have been resolved as first round of negotiations with them has been completed on late Sunday night.
On his official twitter handle, the Minister shared a video message and stated that TLP has released eleven police personnel who had been abducted by their activists.
The minister expressed the hope that all issues will be resolved amicably during the next round of talks this morning.
“All obstacles on the roads in Lahore have been cleared except one and hopefully it will also be cleared soon,” he added.
