They robbed a customer named Imran of Rs4 million cash.
Lahore: Four robbers escaped after looting Rs16 million from a private bank located at Barki Road, area of Lahore.
According to the CCTV footage revealed, the robbers entered the bank snatching the weapons from the security guards Sohail and Munawar, also injured one over resistance by hitting the butt of gun on his head. The footage showed that one of the robber was present inside the bank already and observing the environment.
They robbed a customer named Imran of Rs4 million cash, took hostages of the staff and ran away after looting the huge amount of money.
As soon as the incident was reported, police reached the spot and cordoned off the bank. Police and forensic teams collected fingerprints and other evidence from the scene.
Acting Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Imran Kishor also inspected the crime scene and formed a team to arrest the accused. He claimed that the accused would be traced soon with the help of CCTV footages and Safe City cameras.
