Pakistan, Turkmenistan forges energy cooperation agreement
A delegation from Turkmenistan arrived in Islamabad to meet the energy minister to discuss developments in energy projects.
Islamabad: A delegation from Turkmenistan, led by Minister of Energy and Water Resources Daler Jum'a, met with Federal Minister for Energy Khurram Dastgir in Islamabad to discuss the progress and future developments of energy projects.
During the meeting, the Federal Minister expressed Pakistan's keen interest in enhancing technical interconnectivity with Turkmenistan and further strengthening friendly relations.
He emphasized the importance of Pakistan's involvement in pre-feasibility studies, including supply-demand analysis, revision of project costs, and tariff considerations.
Both sides agreed to work closely together to strengthen cooperation in the energy sector and explore opportunities for mutual benefit.
