A massive wedding took center stage as more than 2,000 couples got married in Baran, Rajasthan.


Baran: More than 2,000 couples exchanged vows in a mesmerizing mass wedding, setting a new world record for the largest number of weddings in a single day.
The event was organized by the Shri Mahaveer Goshala Kalyan Sansthan, a registered trust, the occasion that brought together couples from diverse backgrounds, including Muslim and Hindu traditions.
The ceremony surpassed the previous records held by 963 Yemeni couples in 2013 for most weddings in a day.
The event was graced by government representatives, including Cabinet Minister Pramod Jain Bhaya and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, who blessed each couple.
In addition to the heartfelt blessings, the couples were showered with gifts from the trust, including jewelry, and home appliances.
