Justice Shahid also ordered the revision of Urban Unit Master Plan and Master Plan prepared by the LDA Urban Unit.

Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) Wednesday annulled the notification of Lahore Master Plan 2050, GNN reported.
According to details, Justice Shahid Karim of LHC heard the petitions of citizen Mian Abdul Rehman and others, in which he ordered the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) to complete the incomplete master plan.
Justice Shahid also ordered the revision of the Urban Unit Master Plan and Master Plan prepared by the LDA Urban Unit, ordering them to submit their report to court after revision.
Court disapproved the phase wise approval stating that all the clauses have not been fulfilled and declared the notification as null and void.
It is pertinent to note that LHC had extended the order to suspend the notification of Lahore Master Plan many times before.
