Karachi: Cyclone Biparjoy has moved away from Karachi, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The cyclone is currently positioned 350 kilometers south of Karachi, moving towards the Arabian Sea.
The storm's intensity has slightly decreased, providing some relief to the coastal areas.
Minister for Climate Change, Sherry Rehman, assured the National Assembly that tracking institutions are closely monitoring the cyclone's movement.
Precautionary measures, including the evacuation of vulnerable areas, have been implemented to ensure the safety of residents.
The public is urged to cooperate with authorities and adhere to evacuation directives.
The government is working diligently to minimize losses and provide essential services to affected areas.
