Latif Khosa said that unknown people escaped after firing at his house.


Lahore: Unidentified people opened fire at the house of Former Punjab Governor Latif Khosa in Lahore.
According to details, Former Governor of Punjab and eminent jurist Latif Khosa stated that there has been a firing incident at his house in which his driver got injured.
Latif Khosa said that unknown people escaped after firing at the house.
As soon as the incident was reported, Superintendent of Police (SP) Cantt Awais Shafiq reached the residence of Khosa and started the preliminary investigation.
Former Punjab Governor was unhurt in the firing incident. Police and Defence Housing Authority (DHA) security are present inside and outside his house. While law expert Aitzaz Ahsan also reached Latif Khosa's house. He condemned the attack and demanded the quick arrest of the accused.
While talking to GNN, Khosa said: "I am a retired Governor, I have been Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP) too and this is Red Zone area. Therefore, not a common person can attack this area".
Talking about Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Latif said that they should take notice of the incident.
