Nikolai Shulginov stated that there is no special discount on oil for Pakistan.

Moscow: Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov has stated that Pakistan has not received any special discount on oil.
Speaking to reporters, Shulginov clarified that Pakistan is being charged the same price as other buyers.
During an international economic conference in St Petersburg, the minister confirmed that Russia has commenced oil exports to Pakistan and agreed to accept Chinese currency as payment.
However, he refuted claims of exclusive discounts for Pakistan in the deal.
Shulginov mentioned that both countries have agreed to conduct trade in the currencies of friendly nations.
While the possibility of barter supplies was discussed, no decision has been made thus far.
Regarding liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports to Pakistan, the Russian minister stated that the two countries are still in the process of determining prices.
