CIA arrest five-member robbers gang in Lahore
Rs1.7 million cash, gold jewelry and illegal weapon has been recovered from the accused.
Lahore: Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Allama Iqbal Town Police arrested five-member robbers’ gang in Lahore, GNN reported.
According to details, Rs1.7 million cash, gold jewelry and illegal weapon has been recovered from the accused.
Police officials stated that arrested thieves are accused on record and during investigation they confessed involvement in various criminal activities. However, further investigations are underway.
Few months ago, the shooter gang opened fire at the police party in Choong area of Lahore that resulted in the martyrdom of constable Irfan, while the other sustained the injuries.
The robbers have been identified as leader Waqar, while others are Husnain, Usman, Osama and Shehbaz.
Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Bilal Saddique Kamyana had assigned the task to Lahore police for the arrest of the gang. Responding to which Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Iqbal town Muhammad Ali Butt arrested the robbers and produced valuables from them.
