Customs officials conducted an operation at the airport

Lahore: Customs seized smuggled diamonds and other valuables worth Rs18 million at Lahore Airport.
The spokesperson said that the customs officials led by AC Customs Samra Azhar conducted an operation at Lahore Airport.
According to the spokesperson, the bag of Khalid Rashid, a passenger who arrived in Lahore from Dubai, was searched as suspicious, and 45 diamonds, 18 watches, and other items worth more than Rs18 million were recovered from it.
The spokesperson said that all the items have been seized, a case has been registered against the passenger and an investigation has been initiated.
