Karachi: A young man lost his life during a heated clash over the selection of a sacrificial goat between two families in Mianwali Colony, located in Karachi's Pirabad area.
The victim, identified as Shahid, 32 years old and son of Riaz, was fatally stabbed with a knife during the scuffle that ensued over the choice of the sacrificial animal.
Shahid had recently purchased the goat for the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha festival.
According to the Station House Officer (SHO) Yusuf, the dispute escalated into a heated quarrel between Shahid and members of his community residing in the neighborhood.
The verbal altercation quickly turned physical, resulting in a tragic loss of life as Shahid fell victim to a knife attack.
