Gold prices slightly go up in Pakistan
The data shared by All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) reveals that the price of 24-carat gold rose by Rs800 per tola and Rs685 per 10 grams, reaching Rs215,300 and Rs184,585, respectively.
Karachi: The price of gold in Pakistan slightly went up at the beginning of the week, aligning with the international trends on Monday.
The data shared by All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) revealed that the price of 24-carat gold rose by Rs800 per tola and Rs685 per 10 grams, reaching Rs215,300 and Rs184,585, respectively.
The gold rate in Pakistan has been experiencing volatility recently due to ongoing political and economic uncertainties, as well as high inflation. In such times, individuals tend to opt for gold as a safe investment and a hedge against economic instability.
On other hand, the international market saw an $11 increase in the price of gold, with it settling at $1,931 per ounce.
