Many countries want to invest in Pakistan: Musadik
He added Saudi Arabia is also ready to provide billions of dollars in funds for investment purposes.
Islamabad: Minister of State for Petroleum Musadik Malik said that several countries are keenly interested to invest in Pakistan’s agriculture, information technology, energy and mining sectors.
Talking to a private television channel, he stated: “Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and China have already expressed their desire to explore business opportunities in Pakistan”.
The Minister of State said the UAE has a plan to see investment opportunities in Pakistan’s agriculture, mining and information technology fields, while China is taking a keen interest in energy and other sectors.
He added Saudi Arabia is also ready to provide billions of dollars in funds for investment purposes.
Musadik Malik continued to say, “The government has already imported Russian oil to meet its growing demand in the country, while agreements have also been made with Azerbaijan in the gas sector”.
