Finance Minister announces new petroleum prices
The price of oil has significantly increased in the global market, due to which rate of diesel has been hiked by Rs7.5.
Islamabad: Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar announced new prices of petroleum products.
According to details, Ishaq Dar said that there is no increase in the price of petrol, therefore the price will remain same i.e. Rs262.
While the price of oil has significantly increased in the global market, due to which rate of diesel has been hiked by Rs7.5.
The finance minister said: “The new price changes of petroleum products have been applied from 12 midnight (Friday)”. The new and unchanged prices will be applicable for 15 days.
Notably, currently the price of petrol per liter is Rs262, while the diesel was being sold at the rate of Rs253 per liter which has been increased to settle at Rs260.5. The price of kerosene oil is Rs164.7 per liter and light diesel oil is of Rs147.68 per liter.
