Counter Terrorist Department (CTD) successfully carried out intelligence-based operations.


Multan: During an operation conducted by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Multan, an important commander of a banned TTP (Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan) group has been arrested.
According to the spokesperson, the TTP commander was apprehended from Multan during an intelligence-based operation targeting terrorist threats.
The arrested terrorist has been identified as Kamal and is believed to have a significant role within the TTP.
Explosives, fuses, phones, and cash were recovered from the possession of the arrested terrorist.
A case has been registered against the terrorist, and further investigations have been initiated.
The spokesperson also stated that during the past week, 25 suspects were arrested during 479 raids, and 17,398 individuals were interrogated.
