Dubai: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the supremo of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), is expected to embark on a spiritual journey to perform Umrah in Saudi Arabia.

According to reliable sources, Nawaz Sharif would depart from Dubai to Jeddah for Umrah, accompanied by his daughter PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz.

During their stay in Saudi Arabia, Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz are scheduled to spend a few days performing Umrah rituals. Additionally, the former prime minister is expected to engage in significant meetings, including discussions with delegations of foreign investors. These meetings aim to address investment-related matters and explore potential opportunities for economic growth and development in Pakistan.

In the political arena, the PML-N made the decision to commence its election campaign with enthusiasm. Nawaz Sharif recently presided over party meetings, wherein discussions focused on pertinent political and legal issues. The PML-N leadership also strategized for the upcoming political landscape.
