Intermittent rain continues lashing various parts of country

Islamabad: The weather in Islamabad has become pleasant due to rain, the Meteorological Department says that the rain is likely to continue for next 24 hours.

According to details, the rain is continuing intermittently in Islamabad. The weather became pleasant in Murree and surrounding areas due to rain and cold winds.

Due to heavy rains, there is a situation of flooding in the river channels of the neighboring areas. Power supply has also been affected in many areas due to falling of trees at different places.

Yesterday (Monday) evening, four tourists were injured when a tree fell on a vehicle. Rescue team is on high alert at various locations due to rain alert.

On the other hand, the onset of monsoon in Lahore has also reduced the intensity of heat due to the rain in the city last night.

Due to the torrential rain, water accumulated in the low-lying areas. Due to the strong wind and rain, the wall of a restaurant collapsed. At present, the temperature of the city is being recorded at 29 degrees.

According to Meteorological Department, this series of rains will continue intermittently till July 8.
