Islamabad: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Tuesday extended the hearing of prohibited funding case of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) till August 8, GNN reported.
According to details, the prohibited funding case was to be heard on July 6 by ECP.
Sources told that the lawyer of PTI chief had requested the court for a last chance to submit his answer. Responding to which, ECP gave extension for four weeks in the first week of June.
However, now the commission has extended the date of the hearing till August 8 due to unavailability of the bench that was supposed to hear the case.
The hearing of July 6 has also been delisted by the commission.
