Palestinian President suspends security cooperation with Israel
Israeli forces continue to inflict oppression on innocent Palestinians.
Ramallah: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has suspended security relations with Israel following the Israeli forces' attack on the city of Jenin, located in the occupied West Bank.
According to Saudi news agency reports, the decision was taken by President Abbas after a meeting with other Palestinian officials yesterday.
It is evident that President Abbas has previously suspended relations with Israel on a temporary basis during multiple violent incidents in the occupied Palestinian territories.
It should be noted that Israeli forces have unleashed oppression upon innocent Palestinians, as the occupying army conducted ground and aerial attacks during the operation, resulting in the martyrdom of eight individuals.
On the other hand, the International news agency reported that after the recent attacks by Zionist forces, a total of nine people have been martyred.
The spokesperson for the Israeli military stated that special forces, as part of a major military operation initiated yesterday evening, conducted raids on several houses in Jenin, arresting multiple individuals.
The special forces have also caused casualties among Palestinians in the Jenin camp, as well as making several arrests.
