Saudi authorities escorted the president at Madinah airport before leaving for Pakistan.
Islamabad: President Dr. Arif Alvi Tuesday returned home after performing Hajj along with his family in Saudi Arabia.
According to details, President returned home this morning and will start performing his duties in the office.
It is pertinent to note that the First Lady Samina Arif Alvi and her children also had the privilege of performing Hajj along with the President Dr. Arif Alvi. They went to Saudi Arabia on June 25 to perform the Hajj.
Saudi authorities escorted the president at Madinah airport before leaving for Pakistan. Director of Royal Protocol Ibrahim bin Abdullah also met Dr. Alvi at the airport lounge.
Dr. Alvi felicitated the Saudi leadership for excellent arrangements and success of Hajj season, stating that, “I am grateful to the Saudi leadership for their exemplary hospitality”.
