The latest reports suggest that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has given approval for the appointment of Zaka Ashraf.


Islamabad: Zaka Ashraf, backed by the Pakistan People's Party (PPP), on Wednesday was appointed as the Chairman of the newly formed Management Committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the PCB's Patron-in-Chief, approved his appointment. The federal government authorized the establishment of the committee through a circulated summary for approval.
The Management Committee comprises ten members, including Kalim Ullah Khan, Ashafaq Akhtar, Mussadiq Islam, Azmat Parvez, Zaheer Abbas, Khurram Soomro, Khawaja Nadeem, Mustafa Ramday, and Zulfiqar Malik.
Furthermore, Mahmood Iqbal replaced Ahmed Shehzad Farooq Rana as the Chief Election Commissioner.
