Babusar Top Road closed for traffic at 6 PM due to the danger of glacier melting and land sliding.

Naran: Naran District Administration has once again closed Babusar Top road for traffic after 6 PM to ensure tourists' safety and prevent potential emergencies.
This decision was made keeping in view the increased flow of traffic due to a large number of tourists arriving in Naran during Eid al-Adha.
To accommodate the heavy influx of tourists, the district administration had initially opened Babusar Top Road for twenty-four hours.
However, Deputy Commissioner warned about the Monsoon dangers posed by heavy rainfall, the melting of glaciers, and the risk of landslides in the surrounding areas.
Considering the safety concerns, Babusar Top Road has now closed to all traffic types after 6 PM.
The closure aims to mitigate the risks associated with potential glacier melting and land sliding, ensuring the protection of both tourists and local residents.
