Former Prime Minister and PTI Chairman accused to implicate in attack on sensitive institution's office case.


Faisalabad: Police in Faisalabad and Gujranwala have nominated the Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party in two additional cases related to the May 9 incident.
Faisalabad Police have included the PTI Chairman's name in the interim report of the case regarding the attack on a sensitive institution's office and the residence of the Federal Interior Minister on May 9.
On the other hand, Gujranwala Police have nominated the PTI Chairman in a case of murder and terrorism. The PTI Chairman has been nominated under section 109 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC).
According to the police, the case was filed on May 10 against the local leadership of PTI.
The incident resulted in the loss of one police officer's life, with 18 individuals sustaining injuries.
The attack took place at the Rahwali Check Post on May 9, and the case was registered at Cantt Police Station.
Sources indicate that the PTI Chairman will be nominated based on the statements of the accused during the investigation.
