Mexico: In Mexico, a passenger bus plunged into a ravine, resulting in the death of 29 passengers and leaving 19 injured.
Authorities report that the bus was traveling from Mexico City.
The accident occurred at around 6 a.m. while passing through the southern state of Oaxaca.
Officials have stated that the incident occurred due to the bus losing control.
Rescue authorities have further reported that 19 individuals were injured in the accident.
Fourteen injured victims were transported to a local hospital in the vicinity, while the remaining five were airlifted to the city for further medical assistance.
