Opportunity to prepare for Asia Cup by playing test series in Sri Lanka: Babar Azam
Babar Azam focuses on giving his best performance, while the decision of captaincy lies with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Lahore: Captain of the national cricket team, Babar Azam, has stated that playing the Test series in Sri Lanka will provide an opportunity to prepare for the Asia Cup.
During a press conference, Babar Azam mentioned that Mickey Arthur was previously the coach of Sri Lanka, and they will seek his insights.
They have a plan in mind regarding the players they want to field.
Babar Azam also expressed that the ongoing changes in the PCB are not their concern, as changes are a regular occurrence on the board.
The arrival of new individuals to the selection committee will not make much of a difference.
He will meet with the recently appointed chairman of the management committee, Zakir Khan, in due course.
Furthermore, Babar Azam remarked, "I ask for certain players, and I get them. Morne Morkel should have been here, but unfortunately, he couldn't make it."
