He expressed his disapproval of the Israeli government’s use of violence in Palestine.
Secretary General categorically labeled the airstrikes on Jenin as military crimes, asserting that these aerial attacks do not comply with the principles of proportionality.
Guterres called on Israel to uphold its responsibilities under international law.
Palestinian representatives at the United Nations demanded the deployment of an international protection force in Israel.
Guterres further emphasized the need to establish a mechanism that ensures the safety and protection of Palestinian civilians.
