Korean singer Lee Sang Eun found dead at concert venue

Seoul: In a tragic incident, the lifeless body of renowned Korean soprano singer Lee Sang Eun was discovered in the women's bathroom of the Grand Hall at Gimcheon Culture and Art Center.
The 46-year-old singer was scheduled to perform at the Regular Concert of the Gimcheon Municipal Choir when her body was found by an event staff member. The staff member immediately informed the police about the distressing discovery.
While foul play has been ruled out, local authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Lee Sang Eun's death. The exact cause of her untimely demise remains unknown, and further details have not been released by the authorities at this time.
Lee Sang Eun, a highly regarded figure in the Korean entertainment industry, had established herself as a prominent soprano singer. She had a notable educational background, having graduated from Seoul National University and pursued her Master's degree at Mannes School of Music in New York.
The tragic incident occurred just moments before Lee Sang Eun was set to take the stage for her performance. According to a staff member involved in the event, they discovered her lying on the floor of the bathroom when they went to check on her absence backstage.
She was swiftly rushed to a nearby hospital, where medical professionals unfortunately pronounced her dead.
